In 2012, I carved my 2 into a 6” x 9” rubber stamp. The first version of the stamp I forgot to carve backwards, so there are some backwards-printed twos that strengthen the form by proving its beauty despite orientation. In the generative series, Twos, the numeral often appears upside down or backwards.
